Sycamore Farms is a vibrant, mixed-use master planned community located along the 303 corridor in Surprise, Arizona. RVi’s project team has been involved with the property since 2004, and most recently went through a zoning amendment to the original plan. The planned area development (PAD) rezoning paves the way for Taylor Morrison’s new Paradisi community, a brand new master planned, residential community located within the greater Sycamore Farms mixed-use development that will offer a mix of both single family homes and the up-and-coming single family for rent product type. The project amendment received unanimous approval from the Surprise City Council, setting in motion the next phase of this exciting project.
With 711 single-family units and 158 single-family for rent units planned by Taylor Morrison, Sycamore Farms will build upon the community’s existing residential neighborhoods. The addition of single family for rent will not only create more product diversity in the community, it will simultaneously expand the community’s demographic reach. Coupled with its existing residential base and ideal location at the southern edge of the City along both sides of the freeway corridor, Sycamore Farms is poised to become a gateway project for the City of Surprise and to complement future residential, commercial, employment, and entertainment uses planned along the 303 corridor.
With the rezoning now approved by the City Council, we are looking forward to seeing the proposed improvements come to life as the latest in a number of quality communities in development throughout the area.
