Dripping Springs Parks
Preserving and Celebrating Hill Country Heritage
Since the 1980s, RVi has partnered with the City of Dripping Springs to create park, recreation and open space opportunities for this rapidly growing Hill Country community. This thirty year relationship encompasses a full suite of programming, planning and design services, including aiding in grant funding for the development of multiple parks.
Founder’s Memorial Park
Founder’s Memorial Park was the City’s first park and features a swimming pool, sports fields, picnic and gathering areas and the historic Pound House. RVi was invited back in 2002 to focus on developing the underutilized Pound House, a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. RVi worked to create interpretive turn-of-the-century gardens, including expanding vegetable patches as well as planning the re-creation of a medicinal garden and orchard.
Dripping Springs Sports Park
RVi was responsible for complete design services of this 40-acre athletic complex. Facilities include multiple soccer, baseball and softball fields, volleyball, playscape and court games.
Dripping Springs Ranch Park
Currently under construction, the 120–acre Dripping Springs Ranch Park will feature a large covered event center and arena for equestrian and community events. Other park features will include a crushed granite trail, equestrian trails, children’s playground, picnic areas, horseshoes and washer courts and areas for open play.
