David is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a MFA in environmental graphic design. David's extensive knowledge of visual communication in theory and practice makes him an invaluable extension of RVi’s design disciplines in planning and landscape architecture. David has worked with The World Birding Center and The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center on building regional and national recognition through branding, wayfinding sign systems, interpretive exhibits and development of collateral materials. David's influence reaches beyond the private practice arena, as he has been a lecturer and instructor at The University of Texas at Austin, visiting lecturer at the Museum School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and the Maryland College of Art. He is currently a design consultant to Austin Parks Foundation and Zachary Scott Theater Centre.
