Developed by Dallas-based TreVista Group L.P. and nestled in the Texas Hill Country near Boerne, the revitalization of the Guadalupe River Ranch is using the principles of sustainability to transform Tierra Sagrada (Sacred Land) into a conference center and resort featuring conference facilities, a spa, art studios, casitas and country condos. With a renewed focus on the creative arts, wellness, business and the humanities, the ranch will provide a setting like no other, where residents and friends can live, work and play. On hand for a recent weekend get-away to Tierra Sagrada, Principal-in-Charge of the project, Paul Smith, was able to experience first-hand the friendship and welcoming spirit that will fuel the resort's future success. "As landscape architect and master planner, it's a pleasure to work with a client that respects both the land and its history in their vision for the future. Such a vision enhances the direction of the design and the meaning of the project."
Last month, RVi Vice President Chris Crawford attended the PCBC in San Francisco to receive a 2008 Gold Nugget Award of Merit for Best Community Site Plan. The community awarded was Makar Properties, LLC's Belterra. Located in Dripping Springs, Texas, the 1,600 acre master planned community seamlessly strikes a balance between the natural environment, the home and the unique Texas Hill Country. As Master Planner and Landscape Architect, RVi is proud to be part of this award-winning community. |
