With summer just around the corner, this month we're highlighting one of RVi's up-and-coming special projects - Camp Hillard: A Summer Camp for Manhattanites. With Seven Oaks Ranch, RVi is leading the charge for American Nevada Company's first venture into the Texas market. The proposed 2,600 acre master planned community is located on Highway 288, just south of Houston and draws upon the natural beauty of the land and adjacent bayous. Seven Oaks will feature an extensive open space and trail network that will link a variety of housing types with parks, schools and other daily activities, reducing dependency on vehicular travel and preserving the natural environment. Stay tuned for more details about this exciting new project in months to come.
Local and national publications have been taking notice of RVi's park planners, featuring three members of RVi's team over the last several weeks. Principal Barbara Austin and project manager Christina Crawford Martin were featured in the Austin American-Stateman article "Native Instincts" highlighting the Blackland Prairie restoration at the Mueller redevelopment in Austin, Texas. Additionally, Principal Mark Smith proved an important resource in Recreation Management's article "Site Solutions: Designing and Outfitting Your Park." |
