After celebrating its grand opening on Valentine's Day this year, summer has officially hit the Buda Sportsplex. The 68 acre park is the latest addition to Buda's park system and is already playing host to softball teams and the annual Buda Easter Egg Hunt. Planned in conjunction with a new YMCA, the park was designed to accommodate regional competitive sports, including softball and soccer fields and associated concession areas, restrooms, and parking. The Sportsplex has already played host to an adult coed softball tournament and multiple youth softball tournaments consisting of more than 40 teams. The park also features a wet pond and fishing pier, hike-and-bike trail system, and a pavilion for group picnics.
This month, RVi Houston welcomed Project Manager Bob Green to its ranks. With 16 years of experience in the Houston market, Bob is a skilled landscape architect with an intimate knowledge of landscape architecture in Southeast Texas. "I'm very excited about joining RVi and look forward to working with the talented collection of people here. I'm also looking forward to being part of further developing the Houston office."
