As Pulte Homes of New Mexico acquired Centex Homes earlier this year, their portfolio of Active Adult Communities in New Mexico grew by one with the addition of Alegria, an existing 80-acre master-planned subdivision of 376 homes in Bernalillo. With approximately one-third of the homes already built, RVi worked with Pulte and other local consultants this October to reposition Alegria as a Del Webb community. The rebranding package included a new entry experience with a new gateway and water feature, identity upgrades, and landscape enhancements. Alegria by Del Webb is expected to open in early 2010.
November brought great opportunities for two of RVi's principals to share their expertise on a national level. Principal Barbara Austin, Director of Park Design, gave a presentation on the Mueller Greenways and answered questions at the closing panel for the Association of Women Architects' Sustainability Symposium in Los Angeles, California. Principal and Arborist, Mark Smith's article Dealing with Drought has quickly become one of the most read articles on Online Seminars for Municipal Arborists. Both Mark and Barbara are already scheduled for various speaking and writing engagements in 2010 - be on the lookout for them in a town near you! |
