Working with The Trail Foundation, RVi is designing a new wayfinding system and interpretive graphics for The Trail at Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas. The system, to be installed this month, will be the first phase of comprehensive signage that will tell the story of the creation of the trail and explain the environmental factors that make The Trail at Lady Bird Lake such a valuable natural resource for recreation. The design incorporates durable materials compatible with details of the Pfluger Bridge and the Cesar Chavez esplanade and a trailhead identifier and map linking Shoal Creek to the lake.
2009 has been an exciting year for RVi - we welcomed new clients, projects and employees, and celebrated our 27th anniversary. Last Friday marked our annual employee Christmas party - a time to gather with our families and enjoy some holiday cheer. We wish you that same cheer, a happy holiday season and a great new year. Thank you for trusting RVi with your planning, landscape architecture and environmental graphic design needs in 2009 - we look forward to continued celebration in 2010.
