Last week the Williamson County Commissioners Court approved the selection of RVi for Phase V of the Brushy Creek Regional Trail. Completion of this 2.75-mile segment is an extremely important part of a much larger trail system that will one day connect Cedar Park to Hutto. Located midway along the trail route, Phase V will connect the existing western seven miles of trail to Bathing Beach Park in Round Rock. This portion of the trail is envisioned to include pedestrian bridges, an exercise station, information kiosks, and interpretive exhibits.
Hi Barbara, On Phase V of Brushy Creek Trail extension, has a timeline (start date, estimated duration, etc) been established for this? Also, have the designs been completed? Any updates that can be communicated? Thanks.
Dear Nearby Neighbor,
We are just in the early planning stages of this project, so the design and timeline have yet to be established. Please check back in the Fall – we hope to have more information by then.
Any updates on this trail expansion toward Round Rock?
Sorry, we don’t have any updates at this time. The trail is still in design. Please contact the Williamson County Parks Department for more details (contact information can be found on this webpage). Thank you!
