This month we’re celebrating the 777 Tower at Novus Innovation Corridor project, which earned an AZRE 2021 RED Award for best office project more than 150,000 square feet! The Real Estate Development (RED) Awards are the “Academy Awards of commercial real estate,” according to Michael Gossie, editor in chief of AZ Big Media. The competition was steep this year, featuring a record-setting pool of nominees and finalists. The selection committee had their work cut out for them when choosing the appropriate winners, taking into consideration the size of a project, its location, any construction challenges and/or opportunities, its architecture and design, as well as the project’s effect on the surrounding community, and in some cases, its economic impact.
Construction on 777 Novus was completed in July 2020, and it is the first office building to be built in Arizona State University’s 350-acre Novus Innovation Corridor. Developed by Ryan Companies in partnership with ASU’s real estate subsidiary University Realty and Novus master developer Catellus Development Corporation, this 6-story building includes 160,000 sf of multi-tenant office space above 8,000 sf of ground-floor retail and restaurant space designed by DAVIS. RVi served as landscape architect for the project.
Congratulations again to the entire project team on this recognition!
