Last month, RVi client and developer Freehold Communities took home a coveted Gold Nugget Grand Award from the Pacific Coast Builder Conference (PCBC). The Headwaters master planned community won top honors in the Best Indoor/Outdoor Lifestyle for a Community category, edging out many other projects from across the country. The PCBC is the national’s largest regional conference and trade show for the real estate development field. Patrick Smith, Director of Landscape Architecture and Dennis Tonsor, Director of Planning traveled to San Francisco to accept the award along with other members of the project’s design and development team.

Located in Dripping Springs, TX, Headwaters’ signature contemporary style is informed by the former ranchland’s heritage and its timeless geography. The community benefits from several key natural amenities, including majestic views of the Texas Hill Country, abundant wildlife, and rolling hills. RVi’s master plan for the site preserves over 1,000 acres of open space, with each residential lot backing up to greenbelt views. RVi also provided landscape architecture services for the community, including entry monumentation, roadway design, creation of over eight miles of scenic trails, and the design of several parks including a recreational complex with a resort-style pool and state-of-the-art amenities. Architecture and Interior Design services for the project were provided by Marsh & Associates. Congratulations, team!
