We are excited to announce that RVi client Freehold Communities accepted the Best Landscape Design Gold Nationals Award for Headwaters, a master planned community in Dripping Springs, Texas. The awards were announced by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) at the Nationals Gala on February 19th in Las Vegas.
Located in Dripping Springs at the confluence of Big Barton and Little Barton Creeks, Headwaters’ signature contemporary style is informed by the former ranchland’s heritage and its timeless geography. The community benefits from several key natural amenities, including majestic views of the Texas Hill Country, abundant wildlife, and rolling hills. RVi’s master plan for the site preserves over 1,000 acres of open space, with each residential lot backing up to greenbelt views. RVi also provided landscape architecture services for the community, including entry monumentation, roadway design, creation of over eight miles of scenic trails, and the design of several parks including a recreational complex with a resort-style pool and state-of-the-art amenities.
In 2018 Headwaters also won the Silver Nationals Award for Best Landscape Design from the NAHB and was recognized by the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC), Austin Home Builders Association (HBA) and Southeast Building Conference (SBC). Congratulations to Freehold Communities and our project team on this well-deserved recognition!
