Brushy Creek Regional Trail Development V

Connecting a Regional Trail From Cedar Park to Hutto

Once complete, the Brushy Creek Regional Trail will represent a multi-agency effort in the development of 30+ miles from Cedar Park to Hutto. This portion of the project involved the development of approximately .931 miles of a regional trail connector along Brushy Creek in Williamson Co., just outside of downtown Round Rock. RVi assisted with right-of-way acquisition from almost a dozen landowners along the trail corridor, facilitated public involvement, and developed the final design for the trail. The design is responsive to multiple challenging environmental conditions, including an elevated modular boardwalk over an existing wastewater line and sensitive habitat, as well as a 100 ft. steel pedestrian bridge to span the creek.
