Cadence Multifamily was designed as a gated, resort-style built-to-rent community that transitions seamlessly between established single-family neighborhoods and the broader Cadence Community. The site plan prioritizes connectivity, livability, and an integrated strong sense of place within a growing master-planned environment.
GOALS
The planning and design aimed to create a cohesive single-family rental community that complements the surrounding development while offering residents a high-quality, amenity-rich living experience. Key goals included reinforcing pedestrian connectivity, establishing a consistent design character, and organizing circulation and amenities to support comfort, accessibility, and everyday use.
OUTCOMES
RVi delivered a cohesive site plan that reinforces Cadence Multifamily’s positioning as a transitional neighborhood within the broader Cadence Community. The layout balances internal circulation, open space, and amenity placement to support walkability, comfort, and ease of daily living. A comprehensive pedestrian network weaves through the community, linking to shared amenities and connecting residents to surrounding neighborhoods and community assets.
Amenities are intentionally distributed throughout the site to create a variety of social and recreational experiences while minimizing walking distances and reinforcing a human-scaled environment. The central amenity hub anchors the development and serves as a social focal point, featuring a pool, outdoor kitchen, shaded seating areas, off-leash dog run, and flexible lawn space for informal gatherings and community events. Toward the southern end of the development, a series of passive outdoor gathering spaces off flexibility in a more intimate setting removed. Toward the north, a larger off-leash dog run includes a large turf area, terraced stadium seating, seat walls, and a shaded plaza.
Together, the integrated site planning, circulation strategy, and amenity framework create a resort-style residential environment that supports wellness, accessibility, and long-term livability while seamlessly integrating the community into its larger master-planned context.
