Cinco Ranch Northwest Expansion
A New Chapter for a Grand Community
RVi provided landscape architecture design services for this 492–acre addition to the highly successful Cinco Ranch Development in Katy, Texas. Specific services provided in this multi-phase effort included the design of trails, ponds, neighborhood parks, landscape lighting, planting design, and irrigation. Design efforts also included monuments and signage for major entrances and neighborhoods.
The planting design includes drought tolerant and native species. In addition, more than 100 native trees were relocated from an on-site nursery to provide a mature landscape character. The irrigation design incorporates all non-potable equipment for future connection of the effluent supply system, which will contribute to the developer’s efforts to conserve potable water.
