Dr. Pepper Snapple Group Corporate Headquarters

The new campus of Dr. Pepper Snapple Group was created with the employee in mind. Our firm worked closely with HKS Architects to site the building in order to take advantage of its location along Legacy Drive and to utilize the existing earth forms and tree plantings to screen southern views from the building.

The entry drive meanders around and across a small pond and water feature to an arrival court. A Texas spring bubbles up east of the drive, producing a playful, natural cascade that spills toward and under the drive and into the placid entry pond. Excellent views were also created from the building lobby across the entry court and beyond to the reflecting pond.

A large, 35-foot fountain emerges from the pond and provides an outstanding visual feature for both levels of the building lobby and entry court. Just east of the building, a corporate amphitheater facilitates special meetings and events for employees. The bold, sweeping lines of the seating elements extend from the east doorway of the building and wrap around the stage area. Electrical service was provided for portable speakers and presentation media, and low-level bollards provide soft lighting for evening use. The amphitheater was designed with a bermed backdrop also serves as a soft natural edge of enclosure, visually separating this employee space from the second phase office expansion.
