GOALS
Seeking to balance brand aesthetics with upscale amenities and seamless connections, Taylor Morrison enlisted RVi’s master planning and design services for Esplanade Golf & Country Club of Naples. We worked carefully to weave a golf course, extensive trail networks, and upscale amenities throughout the 1,000+ lot community while preserving existing habitats for a living experience full of opportunities.
OUTCOMES
Esplanade Golf & Country Club of Naples is now a landmark active-lifestyle community on Florida’s Gulf Coast. The community’s visioning and brand design exemplifies Esplanade’s Tuscan-themed aesthetics, with sprawling amenities to match.
A comprehensive trail system keeps community members active and connected, with more than 11 miles of trails including a five-mile loop and trails dedicated to fitness and wilderness exploration. With more than 1,000 acres of land set aside for preservation, the opportunities to experience wildlife are abundant, with many trails traversing preserves, bird habitats, and extensive conservation lands. The incorporation of such an extensive trail network helped to enhance our client’s vision of reinventing the traditional golf course community into a place for active living and healthy environments.
The program also incorporates sidewalks and linear parks into a network around the centralized resort-style amenity center. The amenity campus offers a blend of uses, including a culinary center, a learning center, a wellness facility with resort pool, poolside Bahama bar, golf and tennis pro shop, golf course, golf practice facility and aqua range, sports courts, dog park and multi-use event lawn. Careful consideration was taken during the preliminary golf routing, enabling the course to have a seamless flow through the community.
