Loma Colorado
A Community Connected by Recreation
Loma Colorado, named for an on-site mountain, is a master-planned community located north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The community’s primary entry incorporates pedestrian trails, links to the adjacent sports park, an overlook park, and roadway alignments that enhance views and make the crossing a pleasurable experience. An integrated system of trails and themed parks is linked to adjacent municipal recreational facilities. The design guidelines package established criteria for streetscapes, pedestrian systems, park design, lighting, landscaping, site furnishings, signage, finishes and materials.
