Orchard Ridge

Orchard Ridge is a master-planned community in Liberty Hill, Texas, designed around a central grove of oak trees and a strong connection to the land. Blending farmhouse-inspired architecture with parks, trails, and agricultural amenities, the community balances suburban living with access to nature and outdoor recreation.

GOALS

Through thoughtful master planning, landscape architecture, and parks and open space design, RVi helped the client craft a community rooted in health, sustainability, and a strong sense of place. Key goals included preserving mature oak trees and natural drainage patterns, integrating agriculture-inspired amenities such as orchards and community gardens, and creating a connected trail system that supports active lifestyles.

OUTCOMES

A grove of oak trees stands at the center of this Liberty Hill community, while a community orchard and farmhouse inspired architecture add to the narrative of place. Offering a balance of suburban living with natural beauty, the Orchard Ridge community was designed to foster health, active lifestyles focused on outdoor recreation and access to nature.

Orchard Ridge features miles of trails, community gardens and orchards, a fitness center, and an activity center that includes a resort-style pool with splash pad. The community gardens highlight raised planting beds and the original old Aeromotor windmill. These gardens serve as a platform for sustainable education and allow residents to cultivate their own homegrown fruits and vegetables.

With a landscape that slopes gradually into an expansive basin of seasonal creeks and ponds, Orchard Ridge is a dynamic community with abundant opportunities to engage with nature.
