No, this isn’t an Indiana Jones movie title. This is the story of the 2016 RVi Annual Retreat.

RViers had the pleasure of spending this year’s company retreat at Canyon of the Eagles in Burnet, Texas. Folks from all our five offices gathered together on some seriously beautiful campgrounds to meet, mingle, bond, and have a great time as one team.

We arrived on Friday around noon, with everyone carpooling in from their respective cities. A lunch and lots of handshaking kicked us off, and then we headed to a Vanishing Texas River cruise, where we floated past gorgeous rocks and waterfalls. On the overhead speaker, Captain Shawn Devaney told us tales of Lake Buchanan and the Colorado River as eagles flew over our heads.

After some of us enjoyed a quick nap or cup of coffee, we made our way to dinner, which was immediately followed by the hallowed RVi t-shirt contest. Though many gave the contest their best shot, Drew Carman walked away with the grand prize this year and the task of making his designs reality.

Toward the end of the night, most of us got cozy around a bonfire while a certain duet belted out some old gospel tunes. It was kind of magical – a group of swaying RViers gathered around a fire, giggling and sharing the space. We eventually all wandered back to our cottages for the night, and the next morning we departed with our carpools.

In short, we had a blast (sans trustfalls). Check out some of our photos here.
