We are excited to announce that three RVi projects have won Silver Nationals Awards from the National Association of Homebuilders and are each finalists for the Gold Award, which will be announced and presented at The Nationals Gala on February 19th in Las Vegas. Chris Crawford, President, and Patrick Smith, Director of Landscape Architecture, will be in attendance representing RVi.
Honored with a Silver National Award for Master Planned Community of the Year, Kissing Tree has been meticulously built by developer and RVi client Brookfield Residential to appeal to the 55+ age demographic. Located in San Marcos, Texas, the rolling topography was a major design influence of this community.
RVi client Freehold Communities will accept two Silver National Awards for Best Landscape Design for their master planned communities Headwaters and Orchard Ridge.
RVi’s master plan for the Headwaters community preserves over 1,000 acres of open space, with each residential lot backing up to greenbelt views. RVi also provided landscape architecture services for the community, including entry monumentation, roadway design, creation of over eight miles of scenic trails, and the design of several parks including a recreational complex with a resort-style pool and state-of-the-art amenities.
Orchard Ridge’s landscape design is one of the most unique aspects of the community, as it integrates an orchard and farm row-style community gardens, as well as beautiful parks and trails throughout. The thoughtfully-designed neighborhoods within Orchard Ridge are a departure from the typical master-planned community, offering an exciting flavor like none other in the area.
“The Nationals are the most prestigious awards of their kind, setting the benchmark for innovation in new home design, marketing and sales,” said Kelly Fink, chairperson of The Nationals. Congratulations to our clients and project teams for this well-deserved recognition!
