On the eve of RVi’s 30th anniversary, Bob Richardson and Chris Crawford sat down with the Austin-American Statesman to reflect on the last 30 years of growth and development in Austin, as well as how the firm’s projects have helped shape the Central Texas landscape. From prominent master planned communities like Steiner Ranch and Belterra to popular urban spaces like Central Park, Mueller, and the Four Seasons, “we’ve touched a lot of this city,” Crawford said.
The article, Design Firm’s Austin Roots Planted Firmly, also acknowledges economic and regulatory trends over the past three decades and how they have affected our projects and clientele. RVi’s ability to adapt to the changing marketplace has been a key factor in the firm’s success. As for the current economic climate, “it’s nice to be in Texas,” Richardson said.
